Vice President of Sterling Fibers Inc. and second-generation leader, Brian Hagerott combines a forward-thinking approach with hands-on industry knowledge gained over years working across the company. A graduate of American University, Brian is dedicated to enhancing Sterling Fibers’ technical capabilities and expanding its reach in new markets. With a focus on sustainable growth, Brian is committed to building on his father’s legacy, helping drive Sterling Fibers’ continued success and global impact.
Brian is an avid traveler who visits clients and agents worldwide, building relationships that help keep Sterling at the forefront of the fiber industry. Outside of work, he’s a dedicated reader and cyclist and loves spending time with his Australian Shepherd, Cosmo.
Ben Thames
Ben, Sterling Fibers’ Accountant and Environmental Specialist, combines a keen analytical mind with a dedication to continuous improvement. Passionate about precision and doing things right, Ben ensures both financial accuracy and environmental compliance. His commitment to sustainability aligns with Sterling’s stewardship of its 1,200-acre property, preserving natural habitats in line with EPA and Florida DEP standards. An avid outdoorsman, Ben takes pride in maintaining the habitat for local wildlife, including alligators, eagles, and tortoises. Outside work, he enjoys fishing in Blackwater State Forest, playing piano in his church, and reading Western novels.
Emily Wade
Emily is a dedicated cornerstone of customer service at Sterling Fibers, bringing over 20 years of expertise to her role as Administrative Assistant and Customer Service Representative. She ensures smooth transactions, from managing orders to handling payments and collections, always with precision and care. Known for her genuine approach, Emily listens to each client’s needs to provide solutions that foster trust and build lasting relationships. Outside of work, she finds joy in reading, fishing, and spending quality time with her family, adding balance and fulfillment to her life.
