In 2005, Jim Hagerott took over the company, dedicating himself to building upon its established foundation while leading it toward new and innovative horizons. With a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.B.A., Jim combined technical expertise and business acumen, driving advancements in fiber technology and introducing pioneering solutions for industrial applications like filtration, friction materials, and specialty papers. Under Jim’s leadership, Sterling Fibers expanded into a global fiber supplier known for its commitment to excellence, quality, and sustainability.
As Sterling Fibers continues to evolve, Jim’s son, Brian Hagerott, has stepped into a key leadership role, bringing new energy and a fresh perspective.
